AIA provides Continuing Education Systems (CES) for the professional development needs of their membership and related industry professionals.

How does The Maiman Company fit in with the continuing education?
The Maiman Company is a Registered Passport Provider with The American Institute of Architects Continuing Education Systems. Credit earned upon completion of this program will be reported to CES Records for AIA members. Certificates of Completion for non-AIA members are available upon request.

What types of AIA-registered programs does The Maiman Company offer?

Face-to-Face – These programs are those in which the instructor and learners are engaging in the learning activity at the same time. An example of this type of program is when a Maiman Company employee makes a face-to-face presentation at a national or chapter event, or at an individual firm (limited market availability).

Asynchronous Distance Education – These program types are ones in which the learner and instructor are separated by time and are not engaging in the learning activity simultaneously (i.e. learning “anytime, anyplace, 24/7”).

What are HSW credits and do The Maiman Company’s programs qualify?
HSW (Health, Safety and Welfare) credits are those received after completion of a course that has been developed in accordance with the AIA/CES criteria. The good news… ALL Maiman Company programs qualify for HSW credits. Each course is worth 1 learning unit and the courses and test questions take approximately one hour to complete.
