Nominated for Missouri Industry of the Year 2002

The Maiman Company is proud to announce that it has been nominated for Missouri Industry of the Year. This award is presented by the Associated Industries of Missouri, a business organization of over 1,500 members. It is also sponsored by the Missouri Department of Economic Development, the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, and the Mid-Missouri Business Journal. We thank Karl Plumpe, Senior Manager of Economic Development for Springfield City Utilities, for nominating us for this prize.

Manufacturer of the Year 2001

The Maiman Company is proud to announce that it has received the 2001 Manufacturer of the Year award from the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce.

The award was given based on a number of criteria such as level of growth, employee development, and community involvement. Key to Maiman's success was the construction of a 100,000 square foot facility for manufacturing a new flush door product.

The Maiman Company would like to thank the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, the competition judges, the SIFE chapter of Drury University, and the greater Springfield community for this honor and all of the time and effort so many put into this competition.

Special thanks also go out to Grainger Industrial Supply who sponsored the luncheon, Associated Video Producers who created our introductory video, Karl Plumpe of City Utilities who nominated us for the award, and to the Springfield Partnership Industrial Park for providing us such an excellent location to grow and succeed.

We would also like to express our appreciation to the Ozarks Technical Community College, Breech School of Business at Drury University, and the Safety Council of the Ozarks for their unexpected and generous gifts to us.
