Most healthcare facilities and laboratories with x-ray capabilities will require radiation shielding materials in addition to other doors throughout the facility.
Like our other specialty doors, our lead-lined thermal fused doors will look and feel just like any other thermal fused door. Aside from the added weight of the lead, you won't be able to tell the difference.
Standard construction lead-lined doors are manufactured with a sheet of lead under the face of the door on each side for lead thickness less than .25". Greater lead thickness and fire-ratings may be available. Please contact us for details.
