Pre-Finishing Options
The Maiman Company offers a number of prefinishing options ranging from staining to priming, so you are never limited to a set of standard colors for your Stile & Rail doors.
Staining Options
We offer a variety of AWI finishes for our stain grade doors; these are typically our classic stile and rail doors. We require original samples for color matching.
We use the following AWI finishes:
- TR-2: Catalyzed Lacquer (Interior)
- TR-6: Catalyzed Polyurethane (Interior and Exterior)

Priming Options
Because of the difficulty in color matching, we do not customarily pre-paint doors. If pre-painting is a priority, call us at 417-862-0681. However, we are happy to pre-prime paint-grade doors, saving you time. Each primed door consists of one or two coats of primer (sanded between coats).
