Bullet-Resistant Doors
Maiman's bullet-resistant Thermal Fused flush doors look and function the same as our standard doors. The term "bullet-resistant" means that protection is provided against complete penetration, passage of fragments or projectiles, or spalling (fragmentation) of the protective material to the degree that injury would be caused to a person standing directly behind the bullet-resisting barrier.
These bullet resistant doors and frames are recommended for architectural use in offices, judicial chambers, law enforcement facilities, etc., where ballistic security is desired. Doors and frames are recommended to be purchased as a single assembly, not individually.
